Privacy Policy – Camping Village

This Privacy Policy explains how the Camping Village app ("we", "our", or "us") handles information when you use it. Camping Village is a festival guide: it shows the camp and stage lineup, an interactive map, and lets you build a personal plan of the sets you want to see.

Information We Collect

For festival-goers, the app collects no personal information and requires no account or sign-in.

  • Your personal plan / favourites are stored only on your device and never leave it.
  • App preferences (such as language) and an offline copy of the lineup are cached locally on your device so the app keeps working without a connection.

Staff / Admin Access

Authorised organisers can unlock editing with a passcode. The passcode grants permission to update the lineup; it is not linked to any personal profile, email address, or phone number. Lineup changes made by staff are saved to our backend (Supabase).

Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect:

  • Names, email addresses, or phone numbers from festival-goers
  • Location data
  • Camera, photos, or contacts
  • Usage analytics, advertising identifiers, or crash reports sent to third parties

The app shows no ads and uses no tracking technologies.

Network & Third-Party Services

  • The app connects to Supabase to download the public festival lineup (camps, stages, set times). No personal data about you is sent. Supabase's privacy policy: supabase.com/privacy.
  • The interactive map renders from content bundled inside the app.
  • The app may load fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.gstatic.com); no personal data is sent with these requests.
  • Some buttons may open an external website or app-store page in your browser. Once you leave the app, the destination's own privacy policy applies.

Data Storage & Retention

The lineup is public festival content stored on Supabase. Your personal plan and preferences live only on your device and are removed when you delete the app.

Children's Privacy

The app is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
